Our Churches coming up

Heavenly Father, thank you for our church and all who worship you there Thank you for enabling us to provide Messy Space and Wednesday Cafe for the young and old, and provision for our Uniformed groups and other users. Help us to find new ways of demonstrating your loving concern for all people, not just churchgoers, and give us the courage to try them. Amen

Bible Month 

We continue our journey through Genesis this week looking at "The God who comes to people in their struggles" - Genesis 25-36

Next week: "The God who confirms and safeguards divine promises" - Genesis 37-50.

Praying together

We'll have a new prayer sheet for July and August - Naomi welcomes contributions by Thursday 25th June.  Thank you.

The Bible Course

From September we'll start The Bible Course, one Sunday a month (except not during major festivals). The course will take us through the big story of the Bible from cover to cover in 8 sessions. If you would like your own copy of the course book, please sign the list in church on June 21st or 28th.  Copies will be £5 each (which is subsidised by the church). It is not necessary to have your own copy to enjoy the course each Sunday, but it will give you more resources to browse between sessions. You can look at a sample copy before you make up your mind, and we will get some spare copies for those who miss this message.

There will be a Churches Together service in Kingsgate Park at 10.30am, and a local arrangement service at church coordinated by Pam and Tim.  Thank you to those who are helping with each service.
