Church Stewards - URGENT

Thank you to those who have volunteered to help with Sunday Steward duties - facilitating Sunday worship.

We are still in need of one or more people to come forward to be Church Stewards by the October Church Council. Church Steward is a leadership role in the church which must be filled by at least 2 people in order for a Methodist Church to exist.  Being a Church Steward requires safeguarding training, and being part of Church Council and Leadership Team.  When there is a strong volunteer base in different parts of church life it does not require doing lots of extra jobs (unless desired) but is more about keeping an overview and facilitating others to use their gifts.  Please speak to Leigh or Naomi if you would like to find out more.

Christmas Tree Festival 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Hello Everyone,

The theme for this years Festival will be ‘Our Wonderful World’

We are looking for trees to be put together and displayed on Thursday 26th November.
The Tree Light Up will be on Friday 27th November 6.30pm till 8.00pm and then the coffee morning on Saturday 28th November 9.30am till 12pm.

If anyone would like to make and decorate a tree and needs support with ideas, decorations, craft supplies etc etc please get in touch with us. We want to make the Church look amazing as it always does at Christmas time with these lovely creations.

We will gratefully receive donations of raffle prizes, Christmas Tombola items, cakes, books, puzzles & jigsaws for the coffee morning. We would also be very grateful of support on the day to either run a stall, support the kitchen, help with the set up or tidy up…if we come together as a Church, many hands make light work.

If you are unable to help out with the tasks above please come along to support this event and share fellowship with friends over a lovely cup of tea and a bite to eat.

Thank you,
Hilary, Pam & Alison 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
